Our dental health is much more closely related to our overall health than most people realise, and the same is true of our pets. Ensuring that they have healthy teeth and gums is part of our responsibility as pet owners, and our veterinarians will know how to help you do it. Regular check-ups, advice on how to train a pet to allow tooth-brushing, and taking care of their dental problems form part of our service to you and your pet.
We offer FREE dental checks, phone our friendly team and book in with one of our trained nurses.
We are well-equipped to perform dental treatment under anaesthetic:
- The teeth are cleaned of plaque and tartar/calculus and then polished. This helps to maintain periodontal health
- The teeth and mouth are examined.
- In many cases dental extractions are required; this is usually due to advanced periodontal disease.
Most of our dental treatments are performed at the clinic by our own vets and nurses. We can also arrange for a mobile dentist to perform more complex procedures, included dental radiography.
