Hi, my name’s Mel! I have been working in clinic since late 2013 but I studied and graduated from Polytechnic West in 2015 as a Veterinary Nurse.

I have always had a huge passion for all animals big and small but my all-time favourite would be our feathered friends!

I spent my childhood breeding parrots with my dad. But I now just have the one, a galah named Harold.

Working in this industry has also made me discover a passion for cats I never knew I had! I’m a sucker for the kittens in our adoption programme so I now have 2 fur babies, Gavin & Dootz.
