Our vets Dr Euan McKenzie and Dr Tiffany Lever perform orthopaedic surgery at our clinic for joint problems and fractures.
In dogs, cruciate disease is very common, and usually requires surgery.
In most cases we perform an MMP procedure to stabilise the stifle/knee joint after cruciate rupture. We can also arrange to have a TPLO performed for large breeds.
In small, less active dogs, an extra-capsular repair may be appropriate.
We also perform corrective surgery for Patella Luxation, which causes instability and premature arthritis in the stifle/knee joint.
We can arrange for mobile surgeons to assist with more complex procedures.
